Which system is for you the best?
- This depends of the quantities and the annual volume;
- Size and shape of the product which you want to shield, please send your drawing;
- The deliverytime;
- Do you need masking? / a sellective coating.
Do you want free advice? Send your drawing by e-mail (info@hollandshielding.com) or fax 078 -6149585. We will answer within a few hours.
Tip: Never use silicone anti-backing it is not possible to remove it. Rather the releaseagents based grease / oil, which can in our cleaning / degreasing process removed.Please inform your moulder!
In general:
For large quantities, more than 5000, metallization is usually a better solution. For thisprocess we have, because the vacuum occurs, an appropriate jig, which holds thecomponent and also partially masks (for example, to prevent short circuits). Jigs aremanufactured in our machine, they should be very carefully designed and built. This willtake several weeks. Dimensions exceeding 500 mm metallization process will generallybe more expensive that sprayed with conductive paint.
When you need product quickly, and the series is small (up to several hundred), it ispreferable to a conductive layer in the form of paint (conductive coating) using which wecan be applied (either by you when you has right equipment).
When the geometry of the product is simple, it is possible with a film or a textile product,the device blocked. This is also a good way to only expose the sensitive parts of your product EMI seal. The tooling is relatively inexpensive because it has a cutter guide orusing a laser-produced machine.
When parts are small (100 mm) and high mechanical properties are not required, aconductive plastic may be used. The best in this case with your moulder and us the bestpossible solution.
With a galvanic or chemical treatment (for small parts and large quantities) is, generallyspeaking, a selective coating is not possible. Both inside and outside is treated.
